Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that UDA's Embakasi East Parliamentary aspirant, Francis Mureithi, is receiving treatment after an alleged attack by Raila Odinga and Babu Owino's goons at the Jacaranda Grounds.
Taking to social media, Babu Owino, alleged that he had booked for Jacaranda grounds for his rally today, but got notified that Ruto had also booked for the grounds on the same day.
Early this morning, Kenyan police were seen at the venue as rumours of fight began to spread on social media. Successfully, Francis got the venue and did his function.
According to Kenyan tabloids, hired goons were fighting for Ruto’s handouts unfortunately injuring the handouts distributor Francis Mureithi.
Babu Owino wrote: "I had booked Jacaranda Grounds for my function today and notified the police while Ruto booked the same venue on the same day but in 2021 as per their notification letter.I have full rights to use this ground today but let my People stay at home coz we love peace."
Information reads: "Our Supporters stayed at home, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino distances himself from the violence witnessed at Jacaranda grounds during the Kenya Kwanza Alliance rally.
