According to Observer Watch, alleges the Tanzanian government wants to grab the ancestral lands from Ngorongoro Maasai and sell it to H.H Sheikh Mohammed, which would be turned into a private hunting ground.

Observer Watch reports: "This video shows heavily armed Militarized Police of the Republic of Tanzania attacking the Maasai people as part of a massive eviction from their ancestral land. The move is to provide @HHShkMohd a private hunting ground
#SaveTheMaasai."

In the trending videos, the military men were seen shooting live bullets at the Ngorongoro Maasai in Loliondo. After the attack, a few deaths were announced and many people injured (check pictures below).

Taking to his platform, journalist, Liberatus, revealed that Maasai Activist, Issaya Olepose Laizer, has been arrested.

Liberatus reports: "Issaya Olepose Laizer amekamatwa na polis baada ya kutoa maoni Club House juu ya kauli za Waziri Mkuu Majaliwa Bunge. Laizer amekamatiwa Loliondo."

Tundu Antiphas Lissu reports: "Ngorongoro Maasai defending their ancestral lands confront Samia Suluh Hassan's paramilitary security forces. Dozens have reportedly been injured by gunshots. There's total media blackout as Tanzania media has been intimidated into silence!

"After decades of unsuccessful attempts to starve the Ngorongoro Maasai out of their ancestral lands, Tanzania govt is now waging a violent war against them. The international community has a responsibility to intervene & end these human rights abuses & hold the govt accountable!

"This is what the lust for tourist dollars by Tanzania govt is doing to the Maasai of Ngorongoro: violent eviction from their ancestral lands. Any Western govt, or conservation agency, that supports Tz govt conservation policies, will have the blood of innocent Maasai on its hands.

"Tanzania govt is using paramilitary security forces to evict thousands of Maasai indigenous peoples from their ancestral lands in Ngorongoro District. Western govts & their conservation agencies have moral responsibility to end the unfolding tragedy by cutting all aid to the govt."
