Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that President Emmerson Mnangagwa declares the late Harare Provincial Affairs and Devolution minister Oliver Chidawu a national hero. Chidawu died aged 68 yesterday. (Read More Here).

The late Harare provincial minister Oliver Chidawu's profile:

-Was a chartered engineer
-became Harare mayor in 1984 at 29
-Was BancABC chairman
-Was major shareholder in Bitumen World, one of the companies constructing roads in Zim
-Bindura Nickel Corporation board member.

The Embassy of the State of Palestine received with sadness the news of the passing away of Hon. Oliver Chidawu. "We send deep condolences & express our our sympathy to the bereaved family, people & the government of Zimbabwe. To God we belong and unto him we return."
