French authorities are investigating a case of “attempted extortion by an organized gang” towards Paul Pogba.
Apart from childhood friends, one of the alleged gang members is his brother Mathias Pogba.
Paul Pogba claims in a bid to put pressure on him to give in to their €13m blackmail attempts, the gang told him they would leak that the Juventus player asked a witch doctor in his family circle to cast a spell on Kylian Mbappé, which Pogba denies.

Taking to social media, Mathias Pogba wrote: "Hahahaha, ce que j'attendais est arrivé : mon petit frère qui commence enfin a montré son vrai visage. Puisque c'est lui qui a commencé a parlé pour mentir à la police et qui fait sortir l'info, on pourra rien me reprocher.👇🏿
"Paul, tu voulais vraiment me faire taire quite à mentir et m'envoyer en prison, je m'en doutais maintenant c'est avéré, ma version des faits arrive et contrairement à toi, j'ai de quoi prouvé mes dires et tes mensonges.
