A jury consisting of ten, determined that Vanessa did in fact suffer from emotional distress from the images that were captured by 8 different officers. The whole lawsuit was based around the fear of the images eventually being revealed to the public as they were wrongfully shared by the L.A. County deputies.
Not only did the jury award Vanessa with $16 million but Chris Chester was also awarded a win of $15 million. Chester lost both his wife and daughter in the crash.
According to TMZ, Vanessa had a very emotional response to the win, breaking down in tears. Period Vanessa.
