Alhaji Mu’azu Muhammad Kwairanga III, the emir of Funakaye, Gombe, is dead.
He doed on Sunday morning, August 28, after suffering an heart attack. He was 45-year-old.
He was installed as the Emir of Funakaye by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in May 2021 following the demise of his elder brother who also died on the throne.
Abubakar Barde, a resident of Funakaye, told TheCable that: “He died of a heart attack around 12 am on Sunday. Mu’azu Kwairanga was a father to all, he showed love to the people of Funakaye.
Indeed, we have lost a great leader. His burial will take place this afternoon by 2 pm in Bajoga, Funakaye LGA of Gombe.”
