At the time of the murder witnesses told investigators that they spotted two vehicles pull into Bradshaw’s driveway.
They were described as a dark Dodge Challenger or Charger and a red G.M.C. pickup truck or Chevrolet. Witnesses then heard the sound of gunshots before seeing one of the suspects, a black man, speed away from the crime scene. Shortly after, authorities opened a search for two suspects!
On August 10th, they were helped by the United States Marshals to arrest 22-year-old Johntae in Huntsville, Alabama after fleeing from Georgia. He was booked into Madison County jail and hit with a fugitive of justice charge. A spokesperson later announced that he was wanted in Georgia for aggravated assault with a gun and murder.
At this point, Johntae’s boyfriend, Eric Dodds, takes to social media to update their followers with what seemed to be a genuine video. He said, “y’all know know John! John would not harm a soul.—- E and J is ok and we’ll be back together and back posting very soon”. He even created a GoFundMe in support of Johntae!
Well it seems that Eric may not have been completely honest in his statement as the case took a crazy turn that ended with him being arrested as well. Eric was booked with similar charges as Johntae, aggravated assault and murder, at Madison County jail.
What’s even crazier is the two can be seen on social media flaunting cars that match the descriptions giving by witnesses in the case! Thoughts?
