Taking to social media, videos and pictures from the two million March going on in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, began to go viral on Twitter and Telegram.
It was later confirmed that 5 million supporters of Peter Obi had come out for the march, instead of the initial planned two million.
Taking to social media, Peter Obi wrote: "We are watching as Port Harcourt, Auchi, Makurdi and Afikpo move OBIdiently today, under the sun and in the rain.
"Constitutional rights to peaceful assembly are protected and must be respected by all.
Our labours will never be in vain. I appreciate you all. - PO."
Chude wrote: "Dear OBidients in Port Harcourt city.
Today, Saturday 27th August is the OBidients Port harcourt one million march! Head to the converging point at Oil mill junction now!
