Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Freddie Lee Trone, his 17-year-old son and his wife, Shauntel Trone, arrested in Las Vegas over allegation of killing and shooting to death of rapper PnB Rock. (Read More Here).

A woman by the name of Shauntel Trone has also been arrested in connection to the shooting ... cops arrested and booked her for accessory to murder. We're told Trone is the stepmom of the 17-year-old arrested.

8:18 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources say the 17-year-old son of Freddie Trone has been arrested in connection to the shooting. We're told the son was the shooter, and Freddie drove the getaway car. (Read More Here).

LAPD is naming a suspect in the murder of PnB Rock ... he's still on the loose, and should be considered "armed and dangerous."

Cops announced Wednesday morning, Freddie Lee Trone, is the guy detectives have fingered as "a person involved" in the Sept. 12 slaying of the rapper as he sat in a Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles.

His 17-year-old son faces the same charges, while 38-year-old Shauntel Trone faces one count of accessory after the fact.

Shauntel Trone is Freddie Lee Trone’s wife and the minor’s stepmother, the Associated Press reports.

The minor and Shauntel Trone were taken into custody Tuesday, while Freddie Lee Trone was arrested in Las Vegas, Los Angeles police officials announced Thursday. The charges stem from the Sept. 12 shooting of 30-year-old Rakim Allen, known as PnB Rock, at a Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant in the 100 block of West Manchester Avenue.

Allen was dining with his girlfriend when the gunman shot the rapper and removed some of his property before running out of the restaurant and fleeing in a vehicle.

Police initially believed a social media post may have tipped the gunman to the rapper’s location.

Authorities have not released additional information about the fatal encounter, but TMZ reported that the minor was the alleged shooter and Freddie Trone drove the getaway car.

The dramatic accusation was first laid out in a court hearing on Tuesday. Melly has been locked up in Broward County, Florida’s Main Jail facility since February, 2019. He is awaiting trial for the alleged murder of his two crew members and close friends, Christopher “YNW Juvy” Thomas, Jr. and Anthony “YNW Sakchaser” Williams.

The Broward County Sheriff’s General Counsel’s Office followed up with Complex on Thursday, providing a detailed statement laying out their evidence for the alleged plot. In it, they use Melly’s given name, Jamell Demons. 

“On April 11, 2022, Broward Sheriff’s Office received a confidential tip regarding inmates Nicholas Lewis and Jamell Demons, both housed in the same unit at the Main Jail, planning an escape from jail by having Demons’ attorney bring in two handcuff keys to aid in the escape. Additional information provided by the source was that Lewis had a shank and drugs,” the statement reads, in part.

Police have arrested the 17-year-old son of Freddie Trone in connection with the PnB Rock murder. The son was the shooter and his dad drove the getaway car.
