The senator appeared as a love adviser in the first episode of VinCentiments' dramedy titled "Kalimutan mo Kaya," which aired on September 21, 2022. Marcos' statements from the video also drew reactions from netizens, speculating its connection to the martial law commemoration.

"Tama po kayo, hindi madaling makalimot. Pero madali namang magbayad ng tamang buwis at magpakita ng katiting na pagsisisi. Mas mabilis gumaling ang sugat pag ginagamot," Diokno said.

Around 70,000 people were imprisoned, 34,000 were tortured, and 3,240 were killed during the martial law period, according to human rights group Amnesty International.
