According to Scottie Pippen,

“They glorified Michael Jordan while not giving nearly enough praise to me and my proud teammates. Michael deserved a large portion of the blame. The producers had granted him editorial control of the final product. The doc couldn’t have been released otherwise. He was the leading man and the director.”

He added,

“I had expected much more. When I was first told about it over a year earlier, I couldn’t wait to tune in, knowing it would feature rare footage.”

As previously reported, Larsa Pippen, 48, and Marcus Jordan, 31, sparked dating rumors when the two were spotted together at Zuma, a Japanese restaurant, in Miami on Saturday (September 4). They were allegedly double dating with another couple. While it was reported that they were, indeed, on a date, there is said to have been no public display of affection between the pair.

Earlier this month, TMZ reported that Larsa and the 31-year old Trophy Room founder were on a double date with another couple in Miami. However, the outlet eventually redacted their statement, claiming that the two were hanging out as friends. On Friday (September 23), sources confirmed that Larsa and Marcus are in fact dating after they were reportedly spotted "cuddled up" during an outing in New York City.

The news comes less than a year after the 48-year old reality star's divorce from Pippen. Shortly after her split, she spoke opened up about possibly finding love again with an athlete. "I feel like I’ve been in the basketball world for so long that I feel like I’m just surrounded by that world. It’s not like I go look for it. It’s just there, you know?”

Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan were once teammates on the Chicago Bulls in the 1980s and 1990s. Although they once shared a close knit relationship, the two later developed a savage rivalry, with Scottie Pippen revealing in his November 2021 biography Unguarded that he was “upset” with Michael Jordan for omitting his NBA history in the The Last Dance. He also felt as though Michael Jordan had made him look bad.
