Facebook videos showed people shouting as they were being shoved up the escalator and into the arrival hall. However, the Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Immigration Office said that the matter is still under control.
"For the comfort of other visitors, please do not cut the queues and do make way for the needy, your patience is highly appreciated."
Just this week, Singapore's immigration authority said bus travellers should expect longer wait times due to ongoing upgrading works at the building.
