Like the time when he was once paid $100 to open up for Ice Cube!

Taking to his Instagram Story on Tuesday (October 19), the Toronto rapper confirmed a report claiming that back in 2006 he made a whopping $100 opening up for Ice Cube. The post from ‘The Flyer Vault’ said, “On August 19, 2006, Ice Cube headlined the Kool Haus with supporting act Drake, in what was likely his first ever concert.”

The post continued, “The Boy got paid a handsome sum of $100 and performed cuts from his debut mixtape ‘Room For Improvement,’ which was released earlier that year. Class history!” Drake confirmed by sharing the post on his Story and captioning it, “This is for anybody getting 100 a show right now …keep going.”
