Virginia Cervantes’ daughter, Daisy, was engaged to a man named Kevin in March 2021, and their wedding was scheduled for this month. Sadly, Kevin died two weeks before the marriage and the family was devastated by the news. Cervantes said they were refunded for the wedding dress and other items, but the wedding venue, Woodhaven Pointe, refuses to issue a refund.

“Everyone reimbursed us except for the venue. They have a policy in the contract about no refunds unless it’s in 90 days,” she explained. However, the venue’s attorney said they are looking for other options to resolve the contract.
