The KL High Court has dismissed the Terengganu Sultanah's defamation suit against Sarawak Report founder Clare Rewcastle-Brown

The KL High Court has dismissed the Terengganu Sultanah's defamation suit against Sarawak Report founder Clare Rewcastle-Brown. 

The court found that Rewcastle-Brown's book titled "The Sarawak Report - The Inside Story of 1MDB" did not contain defamatory statements.

However the court did note that there was an issue of mistaken identity.

Sultanah Nur Zahirah claimed the book implied she interfered in the administration of Terengganu, and influenced the establishment of the Terengganu Investment Authority, 1MDB's predecessor.

Four witnesses, including Terengganu's Sultanah Nur Zahirah, will testify at the Sultanah's defamation suit against Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown and two others.

The trial dates have been set for four days in December at the KL High Court.
