Chaos broke out at Muda's event in Muar yesterday, when a group of people wearing hoodies threw bottles and firecrackers into the crowd. (Read More Here).

This left a few injured, including Sabah Muda chairperson Amos Thien. VP Lim Wei Jiet’s car was also damaged.

“I do not care if my car is damaged even if it is still painful. But this is to the point where they threw firecrackers into the crowd,” Lim said. 

“There were children and senior citizens in attendance. Imagine if it had exploded in front of them.”

Meanwhile, president Syed Saddiq said he strongly opposes such “gangster politics”. 

This is the second time a Muda event was disrupted. On Oct 16, some 30 youngsters revved their motorcycles and shouted “liar” during the party president’s speech.
