Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Chris Martin of Coldplay hugs and kisses BTS' Seokjin on his head after running to him during Astronaut performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin has always been happily open about his friendship with the BTS members, and his respect for Jin and Korean culture has earned him much praise in the past.

The South Korean singer-songwriter Jin and Coldplay’s Chris Martin recently had a long conversation regarding the release of The Astronaut.

The duo who have previously collaborated on the 2021 hit song My Universe share a great bond and respect for each other. Their admiration for each other could be seen through their recent conversation.

The K-Pop band BTS took to their official Twitter account and shared the conversation between Jin and Chris. Sharing a series of images, they wrote, “A new message has arrived from Chris Martin for Kim Seokjin.”

BTS revealed that Jin will be joining the British band Coldplay in Argentina for their world tour concert. The K-Pop idol will be performing The Astronaut live for the first time at Coldplay’s MUSIC of the SPHERES Tour.

The concert is scheduled to take place on October 28, 2022, at Estadio River Plate, Buenos Aires.

BTS’ management company BIG HIT MUSIC also released an official statement regarding Jin’s participation in Coldplay’s concert on the community platform Weverse. The statement mentioned that the concert will not be live-streamed but the performance video of The Astronaut will be released on BANGTAN TV after the concert.

BTS fandom aka ARMY was not over Kim Seok-jin releasing his solo single in collaboration with Coldplay and now the 29-year-old artist has surprised his fan by sharing this news.

Chris Martin : 1 way that blessed my life & our lives as a band, abt 2 yrs ago, someone suggested to us we shld work with a korean boyband. I was full of judgement, my 1st reaction, cuz I'm human but after while I thought why do I feel scared abt it just cuz they made different music."
