Adele’s having a pretty good 2022. She recently had a smashing time at the BRIT Awards where she was the biggest winner of the night, taking home three trophies. Now, the hugely successful singer is gearing up for her Vegas residency, Weekends with Adele, so let’s review what we know so far.

History

The Weekends with Adele residency was initially meant to take place on Fridays and Saturdays from 21 January and 16 April 2022. The shows were going to happen at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a large theatre that’s played host to residencies by many other huge artists. Some of these include Celine Dion, Elton John, Mariah Carey, and Madonna, among others.

There were 24 shows scheduled and they sold out. However, the day before the very first one took place Adele announced that the entire residency was postponed. She cited problems caused by half of her production team being struck down by COVID-19 and delivery delays; it was impossible, according to the singer, for her show to be finished on time.

Many fans supported Adele’s decision and appreciated her wish for the shows to be as good as possible. Others, however, weren’t impressed, having lost money on flights and accommodation. On 25 July, after months of speculation, Adele announced some new dates and tickets went on sale.

Dates and Tickets

Weekends with Adele are now going to take place from 18 November 2022 to 25 March 2023. Across this period, there will be 32 shows; the original 24 that were rescheduled, and eight new ones have been added to satisfy demand.

As of the time of writing, the tickets have all been sold. Some are being resold, but at exorbitant prices in the thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars. Many fans who want to see the show but didn’t manage to get hold of tickets the first time around are now being priced out of getting them. Having said that, there’s a chance more dates could be added. Adele could even do a second residency at a later date or even take her show on tour like Britney Spears did with hers.

Some of the world’s biggest-selling recording artists have put on residences in Las Vegas. Many people who visit the city to watch concerts take time to explore the city’s many other offerings. These include excellent restaurants, spectacular hotels, and casinos, which Las Vegas is known for. It’s always best to brush up on your skills before you head to Vegas, particularly if you’re playing a skill game such as poker. Wherever you are in the world, from the UK to the US or Asia, there are many sites where you can practice your skills. The best online poker (โป๊กเกอร์ออนไลน์) sites that are available in your local language, such as Thai have generous welcome offers, such as an $88 no-deposit bonus. You’ll be able to use your new online skills in person once you make it to Las Vegas. The website contains all the tutorials and advice that you can use to get started.

Setlist

Adele has so far released four studio albums: 19, 21, 25, and 30, so she’s got plenty of material to compose her setlist from. No songs have been confirmed yet. However, it’s likely that at least a few from each album will be included and that her biggest hits will make it. Her most popular songs such as ‘Someone Like You’, ‘Hello’, ‘Easy On Me’, ‘Rolling in the Deep’ and ‘Chasing Pavements’ are pretty much guaranteed to feature. Nothing has been said about the general theme of the shows either.

Adele is known for being down to earth, having a great sense of humour, and not taking herself too seriously. Many of her fans find her personality endearing and it’s no doubt helped her sell more records too. When people go to watch Weekends with Adele, it probably won’t just be song after song; Adele will be sure to inject plenty of personality into the shows too.

The singer has been working hard to make her shows worth the wait. She’s excited and ready to start her shows and hopes her fans enjoy them. While the shows have sold out and their commercial success can’t be denied, it remains to be seen whether they’ll be a critical success. With Adele’s albums and live performances being mostly lauded by critics and fans alike, her Vegas shows should go down well.
