Bia attracted some unwanted attention on Twitter on Monday night after dozens of Latto’s songs leaked onto the social media platform, including what some say were reference tracks for other artists

Bia attracted some unwanted attention on Twitter on Monday night after dozens of Latto’s songs leaked onto the social media platform, including what some say were reference tracks for other artists. In one particular tweet, the “It’s Giving” lyricist was heard rapping over Bia’s “Whole Lotta Money” track, which Bia released back in May 2021, followed by a remix version featuring Nicki Minaj.

Considering that Bia prides herself in writing her own songs, many people were left confused why Latto was clearly heard in the one-minute snippet, with some wondering whether the latter had provided Bia with a reference track to lay the foundation of how the final version would sound. One user ended up tagging Bia in their tweet, asking, “I’m so confused what does all this even mean does this mean Latto wrote the songs?”

The 31-year-old came across the comment and responded, “No London Jae wrote the hook, I wrote the pre and verse it’s not rocket science.” Despite her clearing up the confusion, judging by the comment section, some people still weren’t convinced by her explanation, with the user [a]IcyBarbie commenting, “You dont write sht we caught you.”
