Serbia and Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has vehemently denied rumours that he is sleeping with the wife of Serbia's reserve goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic. Reports were rife that Vlahovic us yet to play consistently for Serbia because of an affair with Rajkovic's wife, Ana Cakic.
However, the striker has denied those claims and revealed that he has been dealing with a groin issue. He was expected to play a starring role up front alongside Aleksandr Mitrovic, but so far, he has only played for 25 minutes.
Ahead of Serbia's game against Switzerland, Vlahovic addressed the affair rumours, terming them absurd. "What we all read and hear about, there’s no need to comment on something so absurd. Evidently these people are bored and have nothing better to do because they are frustrated or angry, but working against the national interest of the team at the moment is obviously their main job right now," as quoted by Talk Sports.
Previously, Sports Brief reported that Dusan Vlahovic continued to cement his status as one of the upcoming proper free-kick takers in the sport. The striker scored an audacious freekick from way out to put Juventus on their way to a 2-0 victory over Spezia on Wednesday night. It was the second successive game that the Serbian hitman scored from a freekick after his heroics against AS Roma.
