The cause of death pertaining to Master P’s daughter Tytyana Miller’s passing over the summer has been revealed. According to @PEOPLE, who cite the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, the 25-year-old died of an accidental fentanyl overdose at a private residence on May 27.

Devastated by his daughter’s loss, Master P went on to share the heartbreaking news on social media, where one part of his caption read, “Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this. #MyAngel.”

Per the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration), the amount of fentanyl that would need to be in someone’s body to endure an overdose is small enough “to fit on the tip of a pencil,” and has been regarded as one of the biggest causes of overdose deaths in recent years.
