TSA officers caught a Florida passenger who attempted to smuggle a gun stuffed in a raw chicken and packed in their carry-on luggage on Monday.

The bizarre discovery was posted on the TSA’s Instagram page, which identified the incident as having occurred at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. According to the officers, the gun was concealed inside a raw chicken wrapped in thin brown paper. In the TSA’s post, the caption contained several Thanksgiving-related puns and jokes.

“The plot chickens as we barrel our way closer to Thanksgiving. For us, it’s a time to be thankful that our officers are always working around the cluck to keep you safe.
