BIOGRAPHY AND WIKIPEDIA: Vetiva Capital boss, OLaolu Mudashiru, killed in Lagos hit-and-run accident in Ikoyi, Lagos state

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Vetiva Capital boss Laolu Mudashiru killed in Lagos hit-and-run accident in Ikoyi, Lagos state.

Olaolu Mudashiru, a co-founder and deputy managing director of one of Nigeria’s top capital management companies, Vetiva Capital, is dead.

The businessman/investment banker was reportedly riding a bicycle with a group of cyclists when a car plowed into their bikes on Gerrard Road in the affluent neighborhood of Ikoyi, Lagos, and sped off, leaving them with very serious injuries.

Peoples Gazette learned that Mr Mudashiru and the other two bikers were taken by ambulance to the Lagoon Hospital on Bourdillon Road in Ikoyi, where Mudashiru later passed away from head injuries.

Mr Mudashiru earned his medical degree from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and his MBA from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom.

He was the late Air Commodore Gbolahan Mudashiru’s son, a former military official in charge of Lagos State.

According to reports, he was involved in a fatal accident while riding his bicycle along Gerrard Road in the Ikoyi area of Lagos this morning, December 11. He was cycling with a team of cyclists when a drunk driver rammed into his bicycle. Late Mudashiru was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.

Said to be in his fifties, Mudashiru, who trained as a medical doctor, was the son of former Lagos State military administrator, late Air Commodore Gbolahan Mudashiru.
