After being called a "side chick" by DJ Akademiks, Yung Miami began trending on social media Dec. 13. And while the City Girls rapper didn't hesitate to fight back on Twitter, Diddy also decided to speak out.
"@YungMiami305 is not my side chick," the 53-year-old wrote on Twitter Dec. 13. "Never has been, never will. She's very important and special to me, and I don't play about my Shawty Wop. I don't discuss things on the Internet and I will not start today."
Diddy went on to share a warning for anyone and everyone who comes for the ones he loves most.
"So think what you want," he continued. "But know that if you do something to hurt mine, I'm gonna to come to your house and we're gonna talk about it like human beings. LOVE."Back on Dec. 10, Diddy surprised his followers when he announced the arrival of another daughter.
"I'm so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world," he tweeted. "Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D'Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much! God is the Greatest!"
While Diddy didn't reveal Love's mother, DJ Akademiks sounded off on the baby announcement in a series of tweets.
"Diddy different," he wrote Dec. 10. "My N---a done f--ked around and had a side baby on his harem of side chicks. Brother Love a real 1."
Yung Miami fired back, writing in part, "Akademiks my name ain't dick so keep it out your mouth!!"
But despite the back and forth, DJ Akademiks didn't appear to back down.Diddy wants to make it clear that Yung Miami is not his side chick – despite recently welcoming a child with someone else.
On Tuesday (December 13), the Bad Boy mogul took to Twitter to address the fodder, just after the City Girls rapper herself addressed the side chick label in a back-and-forth with Akademiks the day prior.

Diddy dropped the bombshell news about the latest addition to his family on Saturday (December 10) with a tweet that included all five of his biological children, his adopted son Quincy and his mother, Janice Combs. While he didn’t name the new baby girl’s mother, TMZ got its hands on Love Sean Combs’ birth certificate and revealed her to be a 28-year-old cybersecurity specialist named Dana Tran.
In a tweet addressing the new birth on Monday (December 12), Akademiks referred to Yung Miami and any other women Diddy might be dating as “side chicks” – prompting her to unload a barrage of tweets in response.“I’M NOBODY SIDE BITCH LETS JUST MAKE THIS CLEAR ON THIS GOOD MONDAY! I don’t come 2nd to no bitch!” Caresha said to the Hip Hop personality. “Akademiks my name ain’t dick so keep it out your mouth!!! You the type of N-gga my uncle doing life sentences for BITCH ASS N-GGA!!!!!”
She also addressed anyone else with negative comments on her situation with Diddy. The rapper’s explanation came after Yung — whose real name is Caresha Romeka Brownlee — went on a Twitter rant following the surprise baby reveal.
“I’M NOBODY SIDE BITCH LETS [sic] JUST MAKE THIS CLEAR ON THIS GOOD MONDAY! I don’t come 2nd to no bitch!” she wrote.
“Diddy won’t even look half of y’all bitches way!” she continued. “Majority off [sic] y’all praying upon a falling star bitch plssssssss!!!!!!!”
While the twosome seem to be going strong after confirming they were dating over the summer – clarifying, however, that they each identify as “single” – Diddy was spotted getting cozy with influencer Shawntya Joseph over the weekend.
The Ciroc owner and Youtube star looked smitten as they strolled through New York City hand-in-hand on Friday.
The pair, who matched in all-black outfits, couldn’t seem to keep their eyes off one another as they stopped to chat in the cold.The outing came just one day before Diddy announced he had secretly welcomed daughter Love Sean Combs in October.
Although the rap mogul didn’t name the mother of his child in the post, it was later revealed to be the 28-year-old cybersecurity specialist.
Yung Miami wrote: "Gina you been down bad ever since I came into the picture hoe! You been crying for a baby for 10 yrs hoes you been around as a bitch that eat pussy and dick when he feel like it YOU A EATER!! you the same bitch that was crying on Tasha k cause you wanted a baby poor sushi!!!!"
