It’s not fair that, instead of getting help, people release their frustrations on innocent souls. This story is sad a mother called 911 after she allegedly fatally stabbed her 3-year-old daughter.

According to NBC Miami, 24-year-old Jellisa Amoya Baxter confessed to a police dispatcher that she fatally stabbed her 3-year-old daughter on Tuesday morning. When the dispatcher asked her how she killed her daughter, Baxter’s response was, “ I tried strangling her. That didn’t work, so I stabbed her with a knife.” Detectives discovered the knife next to the child’s body.

Baxter’s stepfather, Harold Hemmings, revealed that her mother passed away from cancer in September 2021. “She’s sick. That’s all I can say,” Hemmings said. “She didn’t seem like a bad momma to me,” Hemmings continued. “You know, she seemed like she was a good mother.”
