TV host and sports enthusiast Kim Atienza advises athletes to cater to fans and to act properly in public after a local volleyball team was called out online for allegedly snubbing fans.

Kapuso TV host Kim Atienza couldn't hold back from expressing her frustration about the viral video of some local professional volleyball players. On December 1, 2022, a video taken by a netizen started trending on Tiktok in which the Choco Mucho Flying Titans volleyball team allegedly ignored its fans who were waiting for them in Boracay Island.

It can be seen and heard in the video that the fans greeted the team's star players one by one as they boarded their car, but most of them just kept walking and didn't even notice or stop, except for Bea who nodded only to them. The video immediately trended and garnered various reactions from volleyball fans and well-known personalities, including Kuya Kim. Through a Facebook post today, December 4, 2022, Kuya Kim shared his frustration with what he saw.

The caption on his reshared video reads, "As public personalities, (yes athletes are also public figures). "We have a choice to inspire and show gratitude to fans who passionately support us or we can choose to stay private and give them the cold shoulder. "This team should be advised that catering to fans is a responsibility, otherwise, stay out of the public eye and play privately." According to the 24 Oras trivia master, it is sad to see such scenes between fans and public personalities. He said, "What an irritating yet sad sight. "I hope they are advised by their sponsors to act properly in public." "Back to you guys," he joked.
