A man was charged at the Johor Bahru Sessions Court today with raping and sodomising his three-year-old daughter

A man was charged at the Johor Bahru Sessions Court today with raping and sodomising his three-year-old daughter. 

The 45-year-old father of five pleaded not guilty to both charges.

Both acts were allegedly committed on Dec 13, 2022, inside the bathroom of the man’s house at Taman Bukit Mewah, Tampoi.

The court agreed to not grant bail to the accused. March 12 has been set for case mention.

It was reported that the man, who is an Indian national, was arrested on Dec 28, after his wife lodged a police report.

He had entered the country legally on a social visit pass and did not have a criminal record.
