As schools re-open Operation Dudula will be intensifying their efforts to clampdown on undocumented foreign kids and foreign teachers in schools

As schools re-open Operation Dudula will be intensifying their efforts to clampdown on undocumented foreign kids and foreign teachers in schools, in order to make sure that SA kids are prioritised in Gauteng schools and to make teaching jobs accessible to South Africans.

"We will be stationed at
District offices as of Monday making sure SA children are prioritized, no Non SA teacher will be working whiles our own are unemployed"

Said Operation Dudula. The Unemployed Educators Movement of South Africa revealed in November 2022 that their database had almost 30000 qualified educators in Gauteng who are either sitting at home unemployed or working another job while wanting to be employed as a teacher.
