Disney has requested the immediate shutdown of 'Club Penguin Legacy,' a private server of 'Club Penguin' ran by fans of the original game.

The team behind CPL say they’ve operated in good faith and have not profited off of the 'Club Penguin' brand in any way.

The notice comes nearly a year after Disney shut down 'Club Penguin Rewritten,' another private server of the popular online world.

Three individuals who ran the private server were also arrested in London.

Disney has requested the immediate shutdown of ‘Club Penguin Rewritten,’ a remake of the popular online world, ‘Club Penguin.’ 

The website is reportedly being investigated by authorities, at the request of Disney, for copyright violations.
