Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that A man murdered his couple, Valeria Sharton, by setting fire to their house and causing burns to 95% of her body, in Monte Grande, Buenos Aires.

Information reads: "Valeria Sharton tenía 38 años, vivía en El Jaguel, Ezeiza, provincia de Buenos Aires. LA MATARON!!!, el femicida es su ex pareja Ariel Oscar Reglero, quien prendió fuego su vivienda y la quemó viva!. Ella murió con el 95% del cuerpo quemado. #Justicia QEPD Vale."

In the first femicide registered in the Conurbano bonaerense of the year, the victim, Valeria Sharton, 38 years old, was set on fire by her partner, identified as Ariel Oscar Reglero, aged 42.

The causes of the fire outbreak are being investigated by firefighting experts, but according to testimonies gathered by investigators from neighbors of the burned house, Valeria Sharton had shouted "he kills me, he kills me!", on several occasions and alluding to Reglero.

With the arrival of firefighters and emergency medical personnel, the couple was rescued from the flames and taken to the Sofia Terrero de Santamarina Hospital, located in Monte Grande.

The man, who had a history of robbery and theft, is out of danger and was treated for burns to the anterior and posterior thorax, hands and arm.

The woman, on the other hand, was admitted to the hospital in a desperate state, with 95% of her body injured by the flames and died.

The case, which is being investigated by the UFI No. 3 Specialized in Gender and Family Violence of Esteban Echeverría, is charged as homicide in the degree of femicide and the alleged murderer is in custody.
