Thembani Bukula is the chair man of NERSA that recently approved Eskom's new tariffs and the CEO of PowerX, South African private energy trading company.

Bukula is also a non-executive director of Mahube Infrastructure, which has five contracts with independent power producers and has 3 Solar Farms and 2 wind Farms.

Expects say the new tariffs increase will have devastating impacts on South Africans living below the poverty line.
