Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim says that his unity government will never recognise the LGBTQ community, the concept of a secular state, or communist ideology.

He told RTM's Naratif Khas, certain parties have been spreading lies, that Islam will be ruined under his premiership.

"Sometimes these politicians will say that if Anwar becomes prime minister then Islam will be ruined, secularism and communism will gain a foothold, and LGBT will be recognised. This is a delusion.

"Insyaallah under my administration this is not going to happen." He was also asked about allegations that he was running a dictatorial government. Anwar replied, that his leadership was proven through a vote of confidence.

"I submitted the motion of confidence and we have strong support. So where is the dictator? Am I breaking the law?"

With regards to the lawsuits he filed against several individuals for defamation, Anwar said he did so because their accusations touched on his authority as a leader.

"Thousands of accusations have been made, slanders have been hurled and for decades I have accepted it."

 "But I feel it is too much to question my authority and credibility as a leader. They should be taught that this freedom is not the freedom to slander."

"We use religion then we slander, we make qazaf. I'd like to ask their ustaz to teach them first before teaching others."
