According to new court documents, Clark — who is the man accused of fatally shooting the Migos rapper in the early morning hours of November 1, 2022 in Houston, Texas — has posted his $1,000,000 bond on Wednesday (January 4). Prior to Clark’s release, his defense team had repeatedly tried to have his bond lowered, claiming he could not afford to come up with enough cash to gain freedom.

Since the the November 1 killing of Takeoff, full name Kirsnick Khari Ball, Clark has maintained his innocence. However, detectives in Houston claim Clark had a gun in one hand and a wine bottle in the other hand when he was caught on camera firing his weapon. Law enforcement officials say the bullets that were fired from his gun, allegedly struck Takeoff. Following his release, Clark is now due back in court in March.
