Their church or white wedding was held yesterday in Uganda.
Comedian Collins Bareije aka Emeka has proposed to his girlfriend, Mackline Asiimire.
Her response was in the affirmative.
“A journey to forever starts today. Welcome to my world, babe. I love you and I always will..,” Emeka posted on social media yesterday, April 8.
The self-proclaimed Romantic Mukiga went down on one knee as he slipped the ring on Asiimire’s finger against a breathtaking lake view and the smooth sounds of saxophonist Michael Kitanda.
Several people congratulated the lovebirds.
News anchor Samson Kasumba posted: “It’s always a great thing walking into the path of serious living in having a wife and in-laws. I can’t hide my excitement that you have taken this step. You will learn more about yourself than you will about her while at it. The rest, come see me.”
Emeka responded to Kasumba, saying: “Thanks grandpa.”
