VIDEO: Arcangel finally drops music video with Bad Bunny 'La Jumpa'

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Arcangel finally drops music video with Bad Bunny 'La Jumpa'.

The beginning of the music video features Arcángel and Bad Bunny roaming the streets of Puerto Rico as well as the duo performing on the roof of a Gulf gas station with fans watching and singing along from below.

The end of the video features a montage from previous music video collabs and major stage moments between the two, paying tribute to Arcángel and Bad Bunny’s friendship and work relationship. Additionally, they recreated a moment from the 2016 music video “Tú No Vive Así” in which they filmed in the same location.

“La Jumpa” was recorded this past summer while Bad Bunny was away on The World’s Hottest Tour.

Dressed completely in black, Austin Santos, Arcángel's first name, took the stage of the José M. Agrelot Coliseum and started the show "Just in Time" before thousands of people and performed "JS4E", dedicated to his brother Justin.

Justin Santos, 21, died on November 21, 2021 when a woman, suspected of driving drunk on a bridge in the wrong direction from San Juan to Carolina, collided with his vehicle.

Arcángel continued the concert with "Portobello", followed by "Baby Father Rem" and "La Ruta" with Youngchimi, one of the most acclaimed artists of the new generation of performers of the Latin urban genre.

“Remember that he’s on tour and it’s very difficult for him to go to a music studio, so he had to send someone to look for a studio,” Arcángel previously told Billboard Español about the process.

Arcángel continued, “He sent me the song, we recorded the same day, and three, four days passed in which we sent back and he listened. You know, we haven’t seen each other in a few months, and we recorded the last track for my album this week. Yesterday we were able to deliver it and all the parties were happy with the mastering of the song, we are all in agreement, so we finished it yesterday and the album is out in two days.”

After Youngchimi's participation, Arcángel continued the presentation performing "Subamos de precio", to then give way to presenting "Kilimanjaro" together with the artist Young Miko, one of the songs from Arcángel's new album, "Sr. Santos", named one of the top 25 albums by Billboard in 2022.

Later, Arcángel sang "No te vías" solo, but then another guest, Eladio Carrión, entered the stage to sing "Papa Noel" as a duet, followed by "Bottas", "De Negro", "Pa que la pasas bien ", "Loving you is essential", "In love with you" and "Yes".

Arcángel, 37, of Dominican parents, followed the show by performing a mix of some of her early songs that brought her stardom, including "Bonita," "Wonderful Woman," "Virtual Girl," "Pamamiur," "Agresivo " and "Pistolón", considered one of the first Latin trap, and "I don't know if it was".

After singing these great hits, Arcángel and the Antonio Paoli Symphony Orchestra of the Escuela Libre de Música de Caguas came together to perform "Por amarte blindly."

For this part, Arcángel, also known as "La Maravilla", interpreted "The occasion", "He loves me and hates me", "Now he says", "Flow bastard", "You don't live like this", "I got used to it" and "P FKN R".

After this section, Arcángel and who was at one time one of his great rivals in music, Franco "El Gorila", got together on stage to each dedicate several "tiraeras" (verbal attack through the lyrics of the songs).

Arcángel started with "Don't snore me", Franco followed it with "Salt the alley", the star of the night responded with "Surely not", and then Franco answered him with "Round 3" and Arcángel ended with "Your flow with mine".

And to continue with the "tiraeras", Arcángel took the opportunity and performed "Merry Christmas 3" and "Merry Christmas 4", the latter being dedicated to Kendo Kaponi, to later give way to the segment with his former duet partner De La Ghetto.
