They have gone on a rampage after a learner from one of the local schools, Tlotlisong Secondary School, was found dead by his grandmother in his bedroom two days ago.
Police spokesperson, Mmako Mophiring, says they suspect that the 18-year-old boy died by suicide.
This after the grandmother showed police a small plastic with an unknown substance which she suspects could have been the poison that the deceased consumed.
Police have opened an inquest docket.

The EFF in Thabo Mofutsanyana region has learnt with great sadness on the passing of a learner in ficksburg who allegedly committed suicide.We can imagine the pain the family, learners and teachers are going through.We therefore urge all Fighters to put the family and the entire school management in prayers during these difficult times and respect family to mourn in peace.
We have also learnt that learners have gone on a rampage after a learner from one of the local schools,Tlotlisong Secondary School,was found dead by his grandmother.It is further alleged that the late learner was bullied by a number of teachers which led to this painful incident.The EFF leadership led by the Deputy Chairperson of the region Fighter Tebello Manako visited the school in an attempt to calm the tense situation in Tlotlisong Secondary School.
We urge the department of education in the province to urgently intervene on this emotive matter and objectively investigate the issue.We urge all stakeholders to advocate for calmness and stability across a number of schools in ficksburg.
The RCT will constantly be in contact with the family, learners and Tlotlisong Secondary School management in ficksburg who are in deep sorrows.
