The former couple welcomed the firstborn son on January 23, 2013. They named him Milan, which is pronounced by stressing the first syllable.
According to Shakira and Gerard, they chose the name because “it means dear, gracious and loving in Slavic, in ancient Roman enthusiastic and industrious, and in Sanskrit unification.”
According to Antolin, it was Clara Chia who pressured Pique to make it public that his relationship with Shakira was over.
"When he started the relationship with Chia, she put her foot down and told him: 'I'm not going to be just another, just another affair or another infidelity. If you want to be with me, come out and say that you are no longer with Shakira'".
The journalist continued: "Clara Chia was a person who went unnoticed.
"Shakira never saw her as a danger, because she is not a stunning woman, she is a rather normal girl".
Antolin noted that the singer never had any reason to suspect the 23-year-old as she was always nice to her whenever she visited Pique at the company's offices.
"She behaved very well with Shakira. She was a 'dead fly': she spoke little, she was tremendously educated, she was an intern, they made little noise," he said.
He also noted that Clara Chia would have given Pique an ultimatum when their relationship started.
He added: "When the relationship with Chía begins, she dots her i's and tells him: 'I'm not going to be one more, nor one more affair or one more infidelity.
'If you want to be with me, go out and say that you are no longer with Shakira'".

As revealed by journalist Roberto Antolin on the programme 'Mitre Live', the Colombian called Pique's new girlfriend in a derogatory way.
"Shakira saw Clara Chia as an intern" in the company Kosmos, according to Antolin, and the artist was shocked when she discovered her husband's infidelity with her. "It was a total surprise," said the journalist.
"That's why it hurt her so much, because she already knew her, and she called her 'little dead fly'," Antolin revealed on the programme.

"Little dead fly" (mosquita muerta) is a Spanish expression used to describe someone innocent, someone above suspicion.
