It is alleged that police were transporting suspects in Louis Trichard when they were approached by heavily armed men who opened fire on the officers, there after took 6 suspects and sped off in a grey Mercedes and a -White Toyota Bakkie.
The incident happened along Vivo road next to Schoemansdal turnoff outside Louis Trichard. 5 suspects were arrested for aggregated robberies and 3 counts of attempted murder and possession of unlicensed firearms.

▪️Alex Nkomo aged 35
All escapees are Zimbabwe Nationals.
