Four months after Harry Styles and the Don’t Worry Darling director called it quits on their romance, the Watermelon Sugar singer is moving on. Last month, an insider revealed to the Mirror that the UK native is in the “early days” of a romance with a new love interest, but following the VERY public nature of his last relationship, is trying to play things closer to the vest:
“Harry is seeing someone. He’s going to great lengths to keep her identity quiet after the circus surrounding his relationship with Olivia. But his close circles all know about the romance. Though it’s early days, things seem to be going well.”
Then, on Monday, Women’s Day Magazine reported that the love interest in question is Australian fashion blogger Yan Yan Chan, whom Harry apparently grew closer to last month during the Aussie leg of his Love On Tour. The outlet even suggested the two snuck in some time for a beach getaway to Byron Bay — one of Yan Yan’s more frequented destinations — where the Golden singer was spotted jogging on February 27!
Earlier this week it was reported the British singer and the social media star had enjoyed a secret getaway while Harry was visiting Australia for his Love On tour in February.
A well-placed source has since told Daily Mail Australia how their relationship started, claiming it was Harry who made the first move by 'sliding into Yan Yan's DMs and inviting her to attend a private afterparty' following his Sydney show on March 4.
Yan Yan was indeed spotted sitting in a gold class corporate box alongside a group of fellow influencers at the concert.
Harry and Yan Yan have been following each other on Instagram since 2020, but have never been pictured together.
Yan Yan is just one of 391 people the Watermelon Sugar singer is following.
Woman's Day magazine claimed Harry and Yan Yan got to know each other last month while the crooner was touring Down Under, even taking a 'secret getaway' together.
Harry was photographed enjoying a jog around Byron Bay's famous lighthouse on February 27 - and the NSW coastal town happens to be one of Yan Yan's most frequented hotspots.
'[Harry] loves keeping good company while he's away from home'... [Yan Yan] by all accounts is a lot of fun,' a source told the publication. If the rumours of their friendship are to be believed, Harry and Yan Yan have gone to great efforts to keep their bond under wraps.
'While Harry's closest knows exactly who she is, Yan Yan is the type of person who would never kiss and tell,' the source alleged.
Yan Yan was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Sydney, where she found success as a fashion blogger in the early 2000s.
