Journalist says Beyonce could attend 2023 Met Gala

Beyonce could attend 2023 Met Gala.

Beyonce doesn’t walk down just any red carpets, so when the diva shows up to the Met Gala, you know she means business. The star made her debut during the 2008 Costume Institute Gala, where she stunned in a white, strapless, satin Armani Privé gown and smooth blonde hair.

Though Bey continued to wow in looks like her 2006 Givenchy ensemble, (right), that was the last time she decided to participate in the Met Gala. In the meantime, she’s continued to showcase her all-star style at A-list events like the 2022 Academy Awards, where she glowed in yellow, or the 2021 Grammys, where wore a leather minidress that was to die for.

Beyonce looked absolutely gorgeous in this strapless blush pink satin Armani Privé gown for her first ever Met Gala on May 5, 2008. The theme was ‘Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy’ and Bey opted for this pretty dress which she accessorized with a bedazzled clutch.

Unfortunately for us, we didn’t get to see Queen Bey walk the Met Gala’s red carpet this year. Instead of attending the star-studded event, Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z were vacationing in Miami and on private islands near Florida’s coast, according to the Daily Mail. We honestly should be used to not seeing her at fashion’s biggest night at this point because she hasn’t graced the event with her presence since 2016 (!!), but we still hold out hope!

Because we’re all feeling extra nostalgic these days, let’s take a walk down memory lane to see some of Beyoncé’s past looks, shall we? There have been some GOOD ones. I mean, she really had a hot streak going there for a while.
