The “Mean Girls” star announced the news via Instagram on Tuesday with a photo of a white baby bodysuit emblazoned with the words “coming soon.” She shared the same image to her Instagram Stories, tagging Shammas.
The 36-year-old said, 'We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!'
And the star also told DailyMail.com exclusively, 'We are beyond happy for this blessing in our lives and we cannot wait to become parents.'
The last time she was photographed was on February 9 at the Christian Siriano runway show in NYC. At the time, the Parent Trap actress wore loose clothing that hid her tummy.
Her last few Instagram posts have been neck and up as she has been not showing her midsection as to keep her pregnancy a secret.
On Instagram Lohan posted a photo of a white baby's onesie that read 'coming soon on the front.
In the caption she wrote, 'We are blessed and excited!'
And there were several emojis - first there was a prayer and a heart, then there was a baby's face and a baby bottle.
Lohan and Shammas tied the knot in July 2022 after announcing their engagement in November 2021 on social media.
Lindsay moved to Dubai in 2014 to protect her privacy, but still travels to the US for work.
Before she met Shammas, the New York native dated Aaron Carter (2003), Wilmer Valderrama (2004), Harry Morton (2006), Samantha Ronson (2008-2009) and Egor Tarabasov (2016), whom she had a failed engagement with.
Parenthood seems to have been on the Herbie: Fully Loaded star's mind for many years.
In 2016 Lohan told Vanity Fair that she wanted to be a mother one day. The subject came up when she said in the next decade she wanted to be busy 'making more films, writing my book, starting my charity, working with children a lot.'
Page Six broke the news in July 2022 that Lohan and Shammas, both 36, secretly tied the knot.
The pair sparked speculation that they said “I do” in snaps shared to Lohan’s Instagram at the time.
“I am the luckiest woman in the world. He found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time,” Lohan gushed in the caption of her post.
“I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday.” Remember ... Lindsay and Bader tied the knot last year, with the announcement coming on her birthday. The expecting parents started dating just before the pandemic shut down the world, and in November 2021 she announced their engagement.
