A school lunch lady from Connecticut has been accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old student at her school after grooming him via text.
Andie Paige Rosafort, a former lunch aid in New Fairfield, allegedly sent nude photographs and videos to a teenage boy via Snapchat over a six-month period and also had sexual intercourse with him. According to the affidavit, Rosafort had been communicating with the victim for six months through various social media platforms including Instagram and Snapchat.
At one point, the victim alleged how he received a message from Rosafort that asked: 'You want to see something?' before sending him a nude photo.
When the boy replied asking if she had possibly sent the picture by mistake, Rosafort sent a second unsolicited nude selfie.
Among the sexts the woman is alleged to have also sent were videos of herself masturbating to him over the course of several months.
Rosafort is alleged to have asked the 14-year-old to send her nude photographs of himself in return.
The victim also reported that Rosafort attended his sports games and sent him videos of him playing.
Police collected evidence that the victim and Rosafort were in the same location when the alleged sexual assaults occurred. His friends felt that something was off after he left in the middle of the event.
When he returned, his friends felt as though the boy was 'acting strange.' It was then that he revealed what happened between him and the dinner lady and that he had 'left the party to have sex with a woman.'
Details from the arrest warrant show how the victim had sexual intercourse in the vehicle but that he 'ended the encounter because he began to feel weird about it.'
The boy told his parents two days later after feeling 'very weird and guilty' about what happened.
The affidavit also reveals how Rosafort would often be seen talking to freshman boys on social media.
Rosafort turned herself in last month and posted a $100,000 bond. She was released on condition she have no contact with any minors other than her own children. She is also no longer allowed on social media.
When the allegations came to light, Rosafort resigned from her part-time position at the school, having previously been warned to watch her interactions with minors, according to Newstimes. The school described it as 'possible inappropriate behavior'.
The New Fairfield Middle School lunch lady got identified as 31-year-old Andie Rosafort. She got taken into custody last month. Rosafort faces charges of second-degree sexual assault, enticing a minor by computer, and risk of injury to a child after the police concluded their month-long investigation into Andie Rosafort.
Rosafort was working in the middle school’s cafeteria when she reportedly started to communicate and prey on the 8th grader, according to the affidavit. When the boy became a freshman, she sexually assaulted him, according to authorities.
Things didn’t turn sexual for Rosafort and the young boy until September 2022, when she texted him, “You wanna see something?” and then sent him a nude image, according to the affidavit. The boy seemed confused and asked Rosafort if she sent him the nude photo by accident.
Rosafort responded by sending him multiple nude photos. Later, in the text chain, she asked the boy to send her masturbation videos in return for the images, according to the police affidavit.
She preyed on the little boy until January 13th, when he unexpectedly left a friend’s party and “behaved oddly” upon his return. The friend’s mother alerted the authorities about his weird behavior.
