Njabulo Nzuza, a deputy minister of home affairs, is accused of kidnapping and raping a woman in December of last year at a state house in Kenilworth, Cape Town, and offering her two friends R150 000 in exchange for their silence.

When a woman alleged she had been kidnapped and raped over the phone, Lieutenant-Colonel Lawrence of the Claremont police station in Cape Town went to Nzuza's official residence. Lawrence tracked her out in Nzuza, but when he got there...the deputy minister's security wouldn't let him in. After Lawrence was compelled to request assistance, the bodyguards were ultimately compelled to open the gate.

According to a report by @newslivesa the Deputy minister Njabulo Nzuza dismissed allegations of Rape against him.

“I am disturbed by the allegations made against me, I wish to state that I have never been party to any rape or abuse of women..." he said.
