PSS Acting Mpumalanga Provincial Head, Colonel Thaver, has been shot dead by, Sergeant Ngonyama, who later turned the gun on himself, killing himself instantly

A member of the SAPS under the Protection and Security Services (VIP Protection Unit) has just shot and killed his manager and then turned gun on himself a short while ago.

Both have died on the scene at the Old Edgars Building in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.

PSS Acting Mpumalanga Provincial Head Colonel Thaver has been shot dead by Sergeant Ngonyama who later turned the gun on himself, killing himself instantly. It is alleged that the Sergeant shot dead his commander due to dissatisfaction and disagreement at work.
