It is alleged that the officer was dropping off his neighbor when a VW Polo emerged & opened fire on Sgt Gavin Ndlovu & her 17 year old daughter.
His neighbor, Ms Ngqola, sustained a gunshot wound on her lower body.
Sgt Ndlovu was an investigator at Gauteng Provincial Head office working under Serious and Violent Crime.
