South Africa's former Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni has implied that Botswana and South Africa should be one Republic.

Mboweni went on to imply that Lesotho, Eswatini and Namibia should also be one with South Africa and Botswana by abolishing borders among the aforementioned Countries.

"I advocate for no border controls amongst the following countries; Lesotho, Botswana, eSwatini and Namibia," he pointed out.
