The Nelspruit Specialised Commercial Crimes Court has sentenced former employee of the South African Revenue Service, 46-year-old, Penelope Hlengiwe Khumalo, to 10 years’ imprisonment

The Nelspruit Specialised Commercial Crimes Court has sentenced former employee of the South African Revenue Service, 46-year-old Penelope Hlengiwe Khumalo to 10 years’ imprisonment. 

 She was convicted for fraudulently benefiting R550 000 at Sars.

In another news, The US Embassy has once again warned its citizens residing in South Africa to stock up on food supplies due to the country's persistent power crisis and also warned of the possibility of a civil unrest.
