Tyga has gifted his new girlfriend Avril Lavigne a jaw-dropping $80,000 diamond chain.
The singer, 38, who confirmed her relationship with the rapper, 33, earlier this month at Paris Fashion Week, was seen wearing the statement pendant bearing her name in LA on Thursday night.
Jeweller Eric Mavani, who has also made a custom necklace for Kim Kardashian, revealed Tyga had asked him to create the sparkly diamond chain for Avril as their romance heats up. Eric, who showed off the piece on his Instagram, told TMZ Tyga reached out three weeks ago to commission the bespoke chain - before the pair officially went public with their romance.
As well as her name it features the letter 'A', skulls and engraving saying: 'Made for Avril Lavigne' on a tag at the back.
The songstress has not taken it off since being gifted it by Tyga.
The Sk8er Boi hitmaker wore the sparkler as she held hands with the OnlyFans star while leaving an intimate date night at celeb hotspot Catch Steak in West Hollywood on Thursday.
MailOnline has contacted Avril and Tyga's representatives for comment.
Avril confirmed earlier this month she had moved on with the rapper Tyga, after her split from fiancé Mod Sun.
However rapper and singer Mod Sun's fans don't seem to have taken the news well at a concert in New York City on Wednesday night.
After a fellow rapper capped off a speech praising the 36-year-old musician, he ended by shouting out, 'F*** Tyga,' which moved the crowd to join along.
The custom chain is said to feature 50 carats of pink sapphires as well as white and black diamonds. As you can see in the video below, it has massive “Avril” name plate; the letter “A” layered over pink hearts; a couple of bow-donning skulls; and a clasp that reads “MFP,” which stands for motherfucking princess—a reference to Avril’s 2007 track “Girlfriend.”
