2 dead, 5 others in hospital after a shooting at Privé, a Memphis restaurant owned by Yo Gotti’s mom.

Word on the streets the shooting is that at Prive restaurant which is Yo Gotti mother’s business. Robin Mims which is Yo Gotti sister ex boyfriend and the new boyfriend got into an argument then the ex boyfriend left and came back and shot 7 people. 

The restaurant, associated with Yo Gotti, was entirely roped off by police. In addition to investigators, there has been a number of people stopping by– some of them crying.      

WREG talked to Arthur Horne, the owner’s lawyer, who said they are devastated. “On behalf of Prive, they’ve been in business for ten years, and nothing like this has ever happened at their establishment,” he said.

Police say seven people were shot and two died at Prive on Wednesday night.

According to reports, the shooting happened at Prive, located at the corner of Winchester and Riverdale, a little after closing. Two male victims were found on the scene. One was pronounced dead, the other was taken to Regional One, where he later died.

Five additional victims, four males and a female, arrived at hospitals by private vehicles. The males were ages 37, 35, 31 and 30. The female was 25 years old. Officials say the shooting stemmed from an altercation inside the establishment. 

Several Memphis police vehicles responded to the Prive restaurant at 6980 Winchester Road, where WMC Action News 5's Walter Murphy reported one person was found dead in the parking lot. At least five others were shot.

Photos taken at Cross Creek shopping center show a large police presence and caution tape wrapped around several areas. 
Police say five more victims, four men and one woman, arrived at a hospital in their own vehicles.

Preliminary information indicates that the shooting stemmed from an altercation that started inside the club, said MPD.

There is no suspect information at this time.
