VIDEO: ""If you claim to be against homosexuality yet you don't give us money, you are dishonest" - Pastor David Kiganda, speaks on homosexuality Bill in Uganda

Kiganda, who is the founder of Christianity Focus Centre Church, said the only way pastors can refuse money offered by homosexuals is if the flock commits to giving offertory.

"If you claim to be against homosexuality yet you don't give us money, you are dishonest. You are a liar," the senior pastor of the Kisenyi, Kampala-based church said in a video seen by this reporter.

"If you don't want churches to get money from homosexuals, then bring your money to the church so that it can be used to do God's work. You have to back your words with actions."

My beautiful wife finally gave birth to a pair of twins but one, unfortunately, passed away. She was always bothered by critics who would call her and question her when she was giving birth to me. I however told her not to mind people but rather pray to God for a miracle instead and he made it for us,” Kiganda said in 2021.

Kiganda reportedly married Cindy from Zimbabwe in 2013, though he had been in a marriage that ended in 2012.

Bishop Kiganda is the founder of Kingdom Broadcasting Services, which operates Kingdom Radio and Kingdom TV. No one should pay gospel artists because they’re serving God. The big problem is these gospel artists started to compare themselves with secular musicians.

He backed his statement stating that gospel artists sing while ministering to God something that has sharply divided men of God and secular artists.

Speaking during an interview on Thursday, gospel singers Denis Lanek and Dangello Busulwa argued that a lot of time goes into composing songs, shooting videos, and rehearsals for performances to be perfected.

Founder and Senior Pastor of Christianity Focus Centre Church, Mengo Kisenyi in Kampala, Bishop David Livingstone Kiganda however responded to the argument saying that Gospel artistes should not charge fees since it is the work of God that they are doing.

“No one should pay the gospel artistes because they are serving God. The big problem is these gospel artistes started to compare themselves with secular musicians,” Bishop Kiganda said.

Kiganda claimed that the scripture forbids charging for church ministry works.

“Aren’t you glad that the Lord didn’t charge any of us to hear about the good news of the gospel unto salvation? Aren’t you glad that the Holy Spirit doesn’t charge any of us for the spiritual gifts He gives to the church,” Kiganda stated.
